About the Webinar
The focus of this webinar will be on discussing the value of Grateful Leadership training, the subject of the doctoral thesis being researched and written by Center for Grateful Leadership member Shana Serrano. The dissertation process and literature review of current academic work are the building blocks for this exciting topic.
Leadership techniques continuously evolve and managers need to decide with shrinking budgets how best to train their people. Shana reveals how one “required reading” assignment of “The Power of Acknowledgment” in the Graduate Program in Project Management Program at UMUC inspired her to begin and stay on this journey 15 years later.
Shana has been working on her doctoral degree for the past three years and studying gratitude and the leadership styles that promote fulfilling work and life balance. Grateful leaders and grateful leadership have always inspired her, and she thrives in grateful environments.
The webinar will also include a panel discussion that will revolve around determining the value of grateful leadership training and will include an all-start cast of grateful leaders, including:
· Roberto Daniel, COO for CBP Brasil · Kathryn R. Kest, Past District 56 Director, Toastmaster International and Retired It Project Manager, MD Anderson Cancer Center, Grateful Leadership Certified Professional (GL®CP) Level 2 · Samantha (Sam) Elliot, Recognition & Appreciation Programs Lead, BASF · Tom Kruse, Director, Worldwide Advocacy, BRM Institute · Susan Parente, PMP, CISSP, PMI-RMP, GLCP, S3 Technologies, GL®CP Level 1 · Primitivo Davis, Chaplain LT.
