Instructor Bio:
After serving 10.5 years in the US Navy as an electrician on submarines, Tony spent 20 years as the maintenance supervisor at Sun Chemical in Muskegon, Michigan, the last 8 years at Sun Chemical he was the Senior Safety Specialist where he was in charge of 24 Hr. Hazwoper Certifications, EHS policy development, Confined Space Rescue Certified, EHS compliance auditing, CPR/First Aid/AED Certified, Emergency response & crisis management, Environmental compliance and reporting, ISO 14001 and 18001 Systems Implementation, Process Safety Management, Non Hazardous / Hazardous Waste Management.
Tony Joined the GHSP Hart Team in June of 2017, where he is their first Safety Engineer. He is involved in the Global Safety team, aligning safety procedures in our GHSP North American Plants, he is also very involved in the GHSP Global Machine Safety Program as well, conducting machine safety audits in all three North American Plants and two plants in China.
